MEDICAL MISSION TRIP November 27-28th 2024
Announcing our upcoming Medical Mission to the Dominican Republic from November 27th to
29th, 2024, organized by Medical Mission Called to Serve Inc. in collaboration with a local
partner, the La Merced Foundation, in the heart of the capital city
of Santo Domingo. We aim to donate 250 to 300 backpacks filled with school supplies and
hygiene products. Additionally, dedicated middle and high school students will be working on
projects of collecting sports equipment for baseball and soccer, the “Hats and Caps Project,”
focusing on preventing skin damage. These hats and caps will be donated to school children
and families. About 25 volunteers and school-age children will be traveling from the United
States. This will providing the children an opportunity to volunteer and gain valuable
eye-opening experience of work in an improvised society with limited resources. This mission
will help them develop new skills in communication, teamwork, cross-cultural exchange, and
gathering and allocating limited resources.
November 27 will be a pre-brief dedicated to logistics, teamwork, sorting out the donated items
and supplies that were shipped.
November 28th is the mission day.
November 29th is post- briefing , feedback and discussion. Relaxing and Sightseeing.
